Stay at Home Order is NOW in effect!
Governor Roy Cooper's Stay at Home Order is now in effect, and will remain for 30 days unless revised. This Stay at Home Order is in effect 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and will be enforced by local law enforcement. Remember-- stay at home, save lives.
This order bans gatherings of more than 10 people, orders individuals to stay at home unless they are leaving home for essential activities, requires people keep 6 feet apart when out of the house, and extends the closing of public schools through May 15.
